[Activities] AJA signed MOU with Iran-based magazine Shokaran and The Blue Silk

The Asia Journalist Association(AJA), The AsiaN and Magazine N signed an MOU with Iran-based Shokoran literary magazine and The Blue Silk cultural magazine.

On June 30, Sang-ki Lee, Founding President of the AJA and CEO of AJA Media and Culture(AJAMNC), and Pooneh Nedai, President of Shokaran literary magazine and The Blue Silk cultural magazine, signed a cultural partnership agreement at the AJA Secretariat in Seoul, Korea to support the cooperation between the two institutions in the fields of culture and media.

Shokaran is based in Teheran, Iran and focuses on literature. The Blue Silk is a quarterly cultural magazine, which was launched early this year and its main focus is the cultural exchange between Iran and Korea.

AJA and AJAMNC, which have an online news portal The AsiaN in Arabic, English, Chinese, and Korean languages and monthly print publication Magazine N agreed with Shokaran and The Blue Silk to work together to support culture and media in Asia and Middle Eastern countries, and to become the bridge between the cultures of Asia and of the Middle East.

Shokaran and The Blue Silk are the first Iranian institutions that the AJA and AJAMNC have signed MOUs with.
