Organizational Structure
The General Assembly is the main representative organ and at the same time the supreme decision making body of the Asia Journalist Association. The Assembly meets annually providing a unique forum for all the general, associate and honorary members.
The Board of Directors is the main administrative organ supporting all the activities to be done in order to plan, organize and run the Association headquartered in Seoul, Korea.
National chapters are the backbone of the Asia Journalist Association. Their regional and local connection enables all the AJA members to engage in a high level of journalism and in-depth study and information about Asia.
Committees are the veins of the AJA to deal with particular subjects or issues. Individual members from different parts of the AJA might meet regularly or thereafter required to review projects that cut across organizational boundaries or discuss developments in special issues.
